Villa Mahabhirom is a captivating collection of houses, each with a unique architectural story. Crafted primarily from golden teak, these structures feature the timeless ‘Fah Pakon’ design with interlocking wooden panels creating intricate Thai patterns. Aged pillars and walls bear witness to centuries past, while one house beautifully showcases handmade roof tiles that glisten in the morning light. Another provides glimpses of the golden Doi Suthep pagoda through its ‘Fah Sumruad’ pattern, offering natural ventilation. With flexible joints that accommodate wood’s natural expansion and contraction, these houses are easy to assemble and disassemble, making them ideal for temporary or mobile use.
The wooden joints are reinforced with wooden pegs and bamboo dowels, resulting in exceptional durability.
