The house was meant to replace an older one that burned down. A 19th century Spanish-colonial structure rather than a 20th century American-colonial one. It will become part of the facilities of the first Heritage Hotel in Malolos with on-going major rehabilitation last 2019. Minor dismantling of the portions of the aged house is undergone in order to strengthen and replace worn parts to accommodate proper plumbing and electrical wirings.
