The Bower Ceylon, originally built and owned by a British tea planter is a property that is over 130 years old. Subsequently the Borelassa family bought the property in the late 1930s and 60 years later sold it to its current owners in 1998. The property initially the residential home of its current owners was later renovated in 2018 and opened up for guests and travellers to experience the rich heritage of one of Galle historic properties.
