The property boasts of a total of 6 bedrooms which can occupy up to groups of 10 persons. The two luxury suites are on the 1st floor and four standard bedrooms are located on the ground floor. The property has 3 washrooms with Hot water. (2 dry washrooms and 1 washroom with bathtub (all Shared). Free toiletries are included. Check-in / Check-out:
• Check-in from 2:00pm onwards
• Check-out before 12 pm
Important reminders
• All rates mentioned are on full board per night inclusive of all taxes. Additional charges are applicable for other services.
• Extra beds are not available.
• Pets are allowed only on request and needs to be informed prior.
• No smoking inside the rooms.
• Maximum 10 guests per occupancy, including drivers room
• On site activities will be additionally charged
Child policy:
• Children between the ages of 0-2 years old stay free of charge
• Children between 2-11 years old will be charged 50% of the total applicable daily room charge
• Children between the ages of 12-18 years old will be considered as adults and will be subject to full charge.
• An extra baby cot can be provided on request subject to availability.
Cancelation and no show policy:
Full payment will be refunded for all cancellations 3 days prior to the arrival date, all other cancellations will be charged 25% of the payment.
The Gileemale Walawwa is conceptualised and materialised by its current owner Ishantha Avinda Senerath Dassanayake who is the sixth-generation of the lineage of Pagoda Punchi Bandara, the original owner of the mansion and the village “Gileemale”. Ishantha has achieved a delicate balance infusing his own character and innovative vision while preserving the mansion’s ancestral history of more than 300 years to build an entity of sustainable hospitality that rekindles the bygone glory of the Sabaragamuwa culture.
